Typewriter Mode

Typewriter Mode keeps the line you're writing in one place on screen.

It matters most in full screen, where text otherwise scrolls only when you reach the bottom of the window. Typewriter Mode keeps your line where your eyes are, and the text moves up past it as you type.

To turn on Typewriter Mode

• View > Typewriter Mode (Option-Command-T)

To choose where your line sits

• WriteRoom > Settings > General > Typewriter position: Top, Center, or Bottom

Center is the default.

TIP

Typewriter Mode isn't saved. It's off each time you launch WriteRoom.
